CMC starts construction of HANEL-CMC production factory complex | | On May 10, 2010 Hanoi Electronics Corporation (HANEL) and CMC
Corporation officially started building HANEL-CMC high-tech equipment
production factory in Sai Dong B, Industrial Zone, Long Bien district,
Hanoi.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong- Deputy Minister of the Information and Communications together with leaders of ministries, departments, enterprises and representatives from the joint venture partners interested in the field of ICT. HANEL and CMC Corporation are the two leading enterprises in Vietnam in the field of electronics, information technology and telecommunications. With the motto to expand cooperation and jointly develop, promote the strong existing infrastructure and experience, HANEL and CMC Corporation have made investment cooperation in building HANEL-CMC high-tech equipment production factory in Sai Dong B, Industrial Zone, Long Bien district, Hanoi.
The factory complex will be developed on an area of 6.572 m²; the total floor area is 13.144 m² in Sai Dong B, Industrial Zone, Long Bien district, Hanoi. It will be equipped with modern, synchronous production lines to produce high-quality ICT products such as 3G laptops, new generation mobile phones… with expected production capacity of two million products per year in order to satisfy the increasing demand of people and contribute to the development of the electronics industry of Hanoi city and the industrialization and modernization of Vietnam.
Also in the development plan of the project, it is expected that after being completed the joint venture will continue to use the remain area to implement information technology and telecommunication services such as the Datacenter, Call Center, the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), software and the embedded software export center… The operation of the factory and these centers will effectively attract and explore the high-quality, qualified, professional and skillful human resources.
